MFF School Mentor
I teach
I've been granted an extraordinary privilege to be able to mentor local and American high school youth in Široki Brijeg, Bosnia & Herzegovina for four consecutive years. The MFF School workshop coincides with the Mediterranean Film Festival and produces a high-quality festival ready short film in a little over a week. The students' work have been part of the festival programming for the last five years.
Džudžaniganga
Luka's Snapbrag euro trip takes an unexpected turn deep in Bosnia-Herzegovina when he meets his goofy cousin Jerko. The two embark on a wild hunt for the region's legendary creature the džudžan, and end up discovering so much more along the way.
On Paper
A struggling artist finds a magic piece of paper to help him make important decisions, but what price will he pay if he puts all his trust in it?
Warning: I acted in this one.
The Bridge
A young American girl visiting her cousin in a foreign country goes on an awkward blind date with her cousin's friend. What could possibly go wrong when you barely speak each other's language?
Žuta Boja
The color yellow.
Directing
I'm a director
Working with actors and building character are my two favorite things about directing. I've had the good fortune to work with some really great people and I hope to continue that moving forward. Whether it's short-form narrative, commercials, music videos--I'm looking to bring character and story to life.
CTPR 546 Director's Reel Submission
This was my reel submission for USC's Advanced Fiction Production course, an intensive workshop experience in which students, crewing in their area of specialization, complete the shooting and post production of projects up to thirty minutes in length. At the end of each semester 10-12 students are selected from roughly a hundred submissions to pitch scripts for the upcoming semester. I was fortunate to make the cut twice.
CTPR 508 - 2010: A Dating Odyssey
This is "five-oh-eight" I directed. CTPR 508 which is a course you take during second semester in the film program. It was arguably the most educational and difficult semester of my entire USC career. This is here as a comparison to illustrate my growth as a director over a short period of time.
Editing
I'm an editor too...
A film, TV show, or trailer is only as good as its editor. I strive to pull out the best from the material I'm given in order to tell a meaningful and compelling story.
CTPR 546 - This Time Tomorrow
This was my favorite crew experience during my time at USC. We had an amazing team of people who worked really well together and learned a lot as part of the process.

USC Games - Blink
Arguably the most ambitious project I was part of at USC, Blink pushed the definition of what a "student" game is. I learned a ton about making games and how sound works inside the Unreal Engine. I was a co-editor on this trailer and the lead sound designer on the game.
Sound
...and a sound designer...and mixer...
You cannot underestimate the power of sound as a story telling mechanic. I learned very quickly the best way to call attention to sound is to do it poorly. I take great pride in doing quality sound design, editing, and mixing.
USC Thesis - The Bride of Frank
This was one of my first sound editor/designer/mixing jobs--a quirky retelling of the Bride of Frankenstein.

CTPR 546 - Volcano Girl
My first role in this production course was as a "soundie." We learned the entirety of the sound process this semester, from capturing it on set to the final mix and everything in between. I'm proud of the work we did and the creativity that was necessary to bring it to life.
Photography
A picture is worth a thousand words?
Sometimes "wow" is enough.
If you were wondering, yes, I did take them. Mostly with my iPhone.
